This informal gathering will start with an abbreviated circle ceremony followed by a session of group acrobatics training exercises, then opening up to 1.5 hours of loosely structured acrobatics playtime.

Mysore Program with Lisa Schrempp

Mysore classes are conducted in the teaching style of Sri K Pattabhi Jois. The practitioner is asked to practice daily except Saturdays, new and full moon, and the first three days of the female practitioners’ menstrual cycle. The practice is taught on an individual basis depending of the ability of the student to learn, digest, and assimilate the instruction and the asanas. As the student progresses the teacher helps them to continue in deeper understanding of the practice and asanas and assist them as they progress through the series. The first series is called Yoga Chikitsa it reorganizes and purifies the body.

Women's Shakti Yoga


with Maria KaliMa & Carrie Stover

Shakti is the sacred feminine force of life and is Sanskrit for the creative, transformational energy in all of us.

Maria infuses her classes with yoga philosophy, ayurvedic wisdom and personal life experience. Women are guided to opening more fully to their unique fluid nature and invited to embrace their feminine power with grace and joy. The yoga practices Maria shares are cyclical, following nature's changes through the seasons.

The class is invited to explore through movement, breath, mudra, affirmation and sound in a format suitable for all levels (mixed beginner thru moderate) - nourishing women at all stages of life. The eclectic sequences taught vitalize women, creating strength, flexibility and contentment.


Maria KaliMa is a registered nurse, midwife and doula and has been an avid practitioner of yoga for 30 years, teaching for 20 years. Maria received her 200-hour teaching certificate from Mount Madonna, and her continuing 500-hour studies with Integrative Yoga Therapy. She also has her 700 -hour Structural Yoga Therapy certificate from Mukunda Stiles. Maria is also an avid student and practitioner of ayurveda with certificates from Robert Svoboda and Dr. Jose Rogue. Maria teaches across teh globe at various retreats and intensive workshops, as well as keeping a private yoga therapy practice in Tucson.
