Pancha Karma Ayurvedic Cleanse Treatments

June 20th thru June 27th
Enjoy Home Assisted Pancha Karma Treatments
with Lisa Schrempp

Looking for a wonderful practice for the week Yoga Flow is closed? Pancha Karma will prepare you to go deeper and penetrate a finer place in your Yoga. Try Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga!

Ayurveda recommends periodic "tune-ups" for the body. These rejuvenating and detoxifying treatments are known as Pancha Karma (5 Actions). If you are already healthy, Pancha Karma will increase your vitality and prevent build up of toxins that can lead to health problems later on. If you have some health worries or general fatigue, it is a great way to eliminate stagnant waste and reset the internal rhythm.

I will assist you in practicing a gentle home approach with the following:

Initial consultation -Initial consultation to personalize your treatment plan, identify dosha, and to discuss concerns and any pre-existing issues.
Preliminaries - Internal - Oileation with ghee (clarified butter)
Optional - External - 3 Ayurvedic Treatments and Steam (Snehan-Abhyanga)

If you are interested in doing these yourself I can teach you how and provide the proper oils for your constitution.

Food - Two meals daily of Kitchadhi - simple, easily digestible basmati rice and moong dal (the mono diet recommended for Pancha Karma) to be picked up or dropped at your house for 7 days. Suggested breakfast is fruit and herbal tea.
Castor oil Purge - Instructions and guidance for purgation with caster oil
Follow up consultation

This home approach is convenient introduction to Pancha Karma. The client must be able to take a good amount of rest daily. It is highly recommended to have as little stress as possible introduced to the system during the 7 days. If you need to be working full time then it may not be the correct time to try a home Pancha Karma.

PRICES
Basic – includes all consultations, food, instructions, and oils. Does not include 3 treatments from me but instructions on how to do them plus oils. $270
Deluxe – As above but includes 3 - 2hr Full Body Ceremony, external oileation, steam, and herbalized oils to nose (nasya). $500

Thank You To Our Founding Mother

Jacqueline Sherman founded Yoga Flow in June 2003 as a result of her desire to find something more than the "cookie-cutter, strip mall" yoga studios that seemed to permeate the community. Upon finding the Tucson Creative Dance Center, a unique circular space conceptualized by Barbara Mettler and built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright, she saw that the intrinsic serenity and peacefulness of the space served to enhance the benefits attained by yoga practice. Yoga Flow was the first studio in Tucson to offer this unique style of yoga, Vinyasa Flow, to the community, and is currently the only studio offering Ashtanga Yoga classes and traditional Mysore.

On June 1st, Jackie will be moving on to other yoga ventures and the work of managing the studio will be passed on to Jill Hadap, a dedicated student Jackie believes can successfully carry on the vision and heart of the studio that has changed so many lives. We thank Jackie for her kindness, generosity and her brilliant spirit. We, at Yoga Flow, who will miss her presence greatly, wish her many more years of prosperity and joy in all of the yogic ventures she seeks.

Jackie, we will always remember you, our Founding Mother, with unending warmth and love.
