The style of Vinyasa yoga focuses on the union of breath and movement in vigorous asana sequences to cleanse the body of physical and mental toxicity, moving the practitioner towards inner clarity and enlightenment. Ashtanga brings particular attention to the tristhana: breath, posture and drishti. This intensive will focus on Vinyasa Flow, heavily influenced by Ashtanga principles, empowering our students with an expansive base of experience and knowledge and helping them to find their path towards a powerful practice.

Module 1 – Asana This section will focus on the physical practice of yoga, exploring techniques, modifications, contraindications, etc. to deepen the individual’s personal asana practice. Students will also explore yoga history, Ayurveda, and Sanskrit, all pillars of a powerful yoga practice.
